I can't find one thread or area where DJI users can request enhancements or improvements to the app. As a new Mavic pilot, I've noticed several peculiarities with the app that don't make sense.
First. The POI mode seems set up for Mode 1 control only. Being in the US, most seem to fly Mode 2 so the control setup (shown below) is not intuitive for Mode 2 pilots. Why cant DJI enhance the POI controls to allow mode 2 type behavior? The vertical stick movements should be reversed for Mode 2.
Secondly, I fly in areas with no cell coverage so the map function of DJI 4 doesn't work. Apparently, the app uses Google Earth to display the local map but with no cell coverage, no map. Google earth allows ways to cache the desired map beforehand to be used where there is no signal. I've tried that with DJI 4 but it doesn't work. Need DJI to make it easy to cache this data beforehand prior to flying at a no cell signal sight.
