Here are some numbers on how well the Air 3 Battery Charging Hub transfers charge among batteries.

I drained three batteries down to 14%, 15%, and 41%. I placed them all in the hub and pressed the function button for two seconds until the light pulsed green. After 11 minutes, the hub shut off. The batteries ended up with charges of 5%, 5%, and 55%. The hub transferred 19 percentage points from the lowest-charged batteries, and the best-charged battery went up by 14 percentage points. It took exactly 5 minutes to pull from one battery and 6 minutes to pull from the other.

A better test might be batteries drained down to 30%, 30%, and 50% – that, theoretically, should get the better-charged battery closer to 100%. Stay tuned.

Most interesting to me would be three batteries that are all in the storage state of roughly 60% after 10 days at idle.

How long before one of the three is at 100% and ready for flight, without access to external power of any sort?

Does anyone know if the charging hub will check battery levels in storage if it is not plugged in to external power? It says in the manual every 7 days it checks levels to ensure no battery goes to 0 and will transfer power between batteries, but does it matter if the hub is plugged in or not?

If it needed to be plugged in it would make no sense transfering from one to another, it could just change from the supply... so pretty obvious it's doing so when unplugged.
