You can 100% legally fly over the empty stadium. The security guard can't stop you. He can ask you not to. But that's it. As you said, you weren't on their property, so they had no say so.
And you can even do this during a preseason game.
It took my a couple of weeks thanks to my schedule, but I was able to put out an article about the FAA's new approval policy for OOP and OOMV waivers. This is a nice step forward. Mavics and Minis are eligible for the OOP waiver. Hence putting it in this group.

Did you take the images off of the SD card in the drone, or off of the controller? Because these look like the thumbnails from the controller. Or are they from the pics on your phone?
The Air 2 is a great little drone for what you are trying to do. But the files need to come from the sd card...
I'm not sure who you're answering, but it's not a waiver for 107. If you're dealing with airspace, you ask for an Airspace Authorization. And that's only for 107 folks. Recreational flyers can't get waivers.
