It would be interesting to see footage from that moment, as the log also shows the drone rolling completely to the right (as @slurp pointed out) within 0.4s after the message:
I am wondering if the drone got hit by something (like a bird) - not sure if a drone would do such a quick roll on...
You can't increase the internal storage, it is fixed. If you don't see anything via the USB connection, something might have gone wrong in freeing up the storage at some point. That should be solved by formatting the internal storage (through the RC2). Given that you have nothing stored on it...
The OP mentions switching to cine mode in that 2nd flight:
I don't know if this mode should be reflected in the logfile (I don't see it), but the descent speed would be limited to 3m/s in that mode.
First of all: I kinda admire your trust in the drone and surroundings to fly so far out of view - here it would be completely illegal to do so (VLOS requirement). Given the distance (and the messages) there can be signal interference but it can't influence downward stick only. I can follow all...
I later found that OP asked same question in DJI forum with these, working, links:
1st : DJI Flight Log Viewer - PhantomHelp.com
2nd : DJI Flight Log Viewer - PhantomHelp.com
I am not sure why you removed the attachments and/or did not provide links to Phantomhelp. People here want to help, but also want to learn. That continues after the OP questions have been answered.
Thanks. Informative... What I meant was: there are quite many conditions about which the drone informs the user ("signals quite a lot"), what could be the reason why there is no warning about discrepancies between the two. I understand that it is not programmed to...
Related question: given that the drone signals quite a lot, why doesn't it signal something is wrong when the IMU altitude is changing (considerably) whilst the VPS altitude remains the same. Is that not a clear signal that something is wrong? Especially if the drone consequently changes its...
The drone is labelled as 249 gram, so adding something to it will almost definitely make the weight surpass the 250g limit. There is no need for a scale... That said, I think enforcement will in any case only do something if you cause an accident, fly in a forbidden area or if your drone looks...
"Fehler" should, in this case, probably better be translated with 'error'. With 'einen nicht herstellungsbedingten Fehler' likely to be interpreted as 'an error that is not related to the manufacturing'.
No, it isn't. The EASA Drone Rules require you to have insurance if your drone is above 20 kg. If your drone is below 20 kg, there is no specific requirement for insurance. Member States can, however, mandate third-party liability insurance for operating a lighter drone. If you have a general...
Unfortunately, customs is very picky on what should be on the package for them to accept it without fees - although it seems that you did what was necessary. However, in all cases, Dutch postal services won't respond to complaints of the receiver. You, as a sender, are the one that needs to...
As was already written: a 48MP photo is the result of some algorithm doing fancy things with the (far less) amount of pixels from the sensor. I gather that doing that fancy thing consumes so much processing power that obstacle avoidance no longer functions (correctly). As there is no OA in...
The last location of the drone is pretty near the overhanging cables:
First image is Google Satellite view based on last location, 2nd is from the ortho made by @TonyPHX - Large circle is (part of) the overhanging wires. Seems as those are too low to cause this, and would have expected...
