If this is passed and flying DJI is illegal, the gov should reimburse owners for every one they own. That might change their minds. Voting them out even better.
There are several brand names made for electronics and circuit boards. Look at reviews and prices on Amazon. Auto parts and hardware stores carry as well. There's always a Walmart close too.

There are places to list lost and found, like your local newspaper and Facebook. If the owner has mentioned the loss to friends, it may get returned. Better yet, post a flyer with ph# near the location you found them. They're valuable so probably get a reward.
One popular youtube video was testing distance over water using an A2 with a Rescue Jacket. It was exciting cuz he barely made it home with 10% battery left. FAA used that video to bust him for BVLOS flight and faced consequences (a fine I believe).
