There’s a beautiful place on the Housatonic River in Shelton on the River Road. It a good place to test the integrity of the drone also.

That’s not class D with Sikorsky there?

I flew there last year without any issues so with all the changes in where you can fly now I will go there and set up and try to fly. If any messages come up with restrictions I will address it then. But that's one place I would bum out if I cant anymore. I would travel up river more and find another place if need be.

I used to fly home built quads at hammonasset until I discovered it was off limits, even had a park officer tell me he was going to shoot it down.
With the MP I have flown numerous areas, fields, farms, if you fly away where there aren't any people, I've never run into any problems.
I also use Litchi almost every flight. If it is a mini, Litchi will not work for missions, not sure if it will work with the mini at all. I would love to buy the mini, but the lack of being able to set up missions in advance keeps me from buying one.
