You will most likely need a phone with the Fly app to update the new goggles and the MC 3.
When using Goggles 3 to connect to Mini 4 Pro, can I control with the DJI RC 2?
Yes. However, the live feed will only display on the screens of Goggles 3 and not on the screen of DJI RC 2.

It is certainly "economical" compared to the offerings from Apple and Samsung. The 9 especially with its' bumped up processors and HDMI. I own them all and the 7 is still going strong after years of abuse. And TriplTek's customer service is excellent!
I prefer the Goggles 2 over the Integra as I have several Goggles2/GogglesV2 batteries. The Integra goggles have a built-in battery which I could easily deplete and need to recharge.
I do have my battery strapped to the headband so having to have my phone connected for RID really isn't an...
The overcurrent warning happens occasionally when I'm ripping in Sport Mode. Happens on the Mini 3 Pro but have not seen it on the Mini 4 Pro yet. Although it's cooler here now and I only have a few miles on the 4 in Sport.
