It may be due to the later quads using Bulk Transfer method instead of Ports

I did a test of various chargers and had no issues with a Lenovo laptop charger rated at 65w the charger bank took around 8v at 2.45A and took 2hrs 8 min to charge all 3 from 20%

If there was a later FW then DJI would release it as a matter of course as it may fix or address issues, as said i dont know where you got it from but i sure as eggs wouldnt trust it, but if its not original DJI then it wont be signed correctly...
