    questions about Airdata

It saves all your logs and data, so you get the statistics for the battery, signal, problems, total flight time, etc.

Oh Dear my first altercation, Poor Fella

There's no point in arguing with random people, the chance of a midflight collision of two drones is quite unlikely unless you are chasing the same objective, like a moving car for example. It has happend ofc, but chances are really low, the three-dimensional space is quite huge, and the drones...

Would you buy a Mini 5 Pro with a more fragile gimbal with upgraded 1 inch sensor?

A mini with the camera of the Air2S would be fine, but the thing is there's no much difference between a <900g M3 or a <250g Mini, in the end the bag is almost the same size and legislation is a crap no mater what drone you pick. I'd only consider a <250g for beginners or if you are backpacking...

    Air 4 rumors

The main DJI leakers say it's fake. Air 3 was released 9 months ago, this smartphone release scheldue of uncooked drones goes nowhere but to burn out the hobbysts, specially now that we are on the diminishing returns phase on anything drone related. For example, it took more than a year for...

    Mavic 3 landings after Drone-Hack

That may be the problem, overlapping hacks. On a firmware hacked M3 no other hack should be used, like the RC pro hack, the DH companion FCC hack, or the drone tweaks fly app.

    Best 360 panorama sphere software?

Lightroom and Photoshop have problems with the drone 360 panoramas because they come with a hole in the panorama. PTGui Pro is the best by far, super easy to use, and fast. It fills the holes automatically and the union between pics become seamless. It can work with TIFF 16b without any problem.

    Mavic 3 landings after Drone-Hack

I did some testing and it works this way, whenever you turn on the drone it starts emitting Bluetooth, so the fly app can find the drone to engage the Quick Transfer function. Once you enter the app and enable the Quick Transfer function, it creates a WiFi network to transfer the photos/videos...

    Mavic 3 landings after Drone-Hack

If it's sharing a Wi-Fi that says RID-XXXXX then it's not hacked or it's not working properly, are you sure you haven't overwritten the DH firmware with an official or installed the DH firmware correctly? Also don't put your RID number in the Fly app, leave it blank, I'm using the M3 with the...

    Mavic 3 landings after Drone-Hack

That SSID has nothing to do with RID or Aeroscope but with data/video transmission. What you are seeing is the QuickTransfer function, that creates a Wi-Fi spot on the drone to transmit the videos/photos to a device using the Fly app, but not necessarily the controller. The drone creates the...

    Get stable long exposures

It's a hit and miss, specially at night were the drone can't use the OA sensors to lock in place. For doing fireworks I usually work at f/9, 3 seconds exposure or so and is quite consistent, from 5 to 8 seconds you will miss a lot. You can leave the drone hovering in place a few seconds and...

Maximize flight time from drone battery

The internal chip of the DJI batteries will prevent it from charging while discharging, also, the powerbank can't charge fast enough; you basically need to open the battery and solder a connector for an external lipo in parallel. Some modified their batteries that way, it made sense a few years...

    Instant No Drones Sign.

Just pick a Mavic 3 (the original with the two lenses, not the classic or the pro), install the DH firmware to removes Aeroscope and RID, takeoff from 1-2 Km of your intended flight location and enjoy the hobby. If authorities find you (you didn't follow my previous advice and flown a drone...

Is it better to almost exhaust your battery or leave 20 to 30% on it.

I always land at 15-20%, just before it starts beeping. DJI drones start beeping, autolanding and limit the power output to the motors when the battery is low, so if you are flying on windy conditions, and you get to the autolanding phase the amperage limitation (10% or so) will make the drone...

Not allowed to fly on Corregidor island

In drones the genera rule of better ask forgiveness than permission applies. Think of it as just doing photos with a hand held camera, you'd only ask permission to take portraits, but not to do landscapes, which is basically what you do with the drone. Whenever you ask permission on anything...

    Mavic 3 landings after Drone-Hack

When you are close to the ground, despite not having GPS, it still uses the bottom sensors to hold position, but that stops working at certain altitude.
