I don't have a helpful response to this question but I am curious as to why you intend to remove the RID enabling "upgrade". Did the addition of RID degrade the M2P's performance in any way? Enquiring minds demand to know.

If I remember rightly my drones were detected and added by Air Data to the list whenever a new one took to the air under the control of Litchi. Logging into Air Data I can access the individual page for each drone or battery, to add comments and such.

I use a plastic picnic table as my landing pad. This table can be set up in seconds in tall grass. The table disassembles in seconds and fits in the back of my Jeep.
