Had a great tour, and have agreed to go back and fly the site in the autumn, when th foliage dies back, and to fly inside the buildings too... Going to be a busy day, but should be fun...

Thank you kindly... I'm using DaVinci Resolve - free version - its more than capable for what I need :) Thank you... Just had an email from the Heritage Centre asking for a copy of the footage to play in the Visitor Centre - run by volunteers and open once a month...

A day out at the weekend to meet up with friends from the @DroneShowLive and 2 locations revisited for a flight, a return to a wet and windy Chatterley Whitfield Colliery and the stunning Mow Cop Castle - video to follow... The footage captured with the AIR3 and AVATA of the derelict colliery...

A quick flight over Blairgowrie at the beginning of our recent holiday, and a flight over the crystal clear river... Of course the bridge had to be flown underneath, no real challenge though :)

Lol, I had VLOS at all times, honest guv'nor ;) Actually, I could see the drone backing toward the trees, but the line of sight makes judging the height difficult, hence checking by yawing first... Now when you are talking of descending into the gorge, well I could see it most of the way down...

Thank you, I tend to do a lot of research before visiting an area, using Google maps and Drone Scene, plus places I know from photography days, and also places friends suggest...

Yup, the AIR3 is an amazing machine to fly, so fast and so nimble, but still best to make sure you don't run into anything...

Yes, not sure of why the structure is there, but we did notice it... I usually set my height above the trees by setting gimbal to 0 degrees and yawing to check clearance... Then I also use the rear view camera in the AIR3, just to make sure I am not running into anything - even though it has...
